My name is Carl Avlund and I like to create languages. If you, like me, are a conlanger (a person who makes conlangs (i.e. constructed languages), then it's rather likely that you may know me better as Cawlo, my life-long online pseudonym.

In October of 2025 I had the bright idea of getting myself an online space to put information about my languages. This is that space. As time goes on, I hope to fill this site with pages about the various projects I've worked on over the years.
